Introduction Part 1 - vowels

Happy learning of Mandarin Chinese!

In our first video, we are going to touch on the basics of the Mandarin Chinese language, which is the pronunciation system called Pin Yin.

Pin Yin are written in Roman letters to help us pronounce each Chinese character.

And also, we are going to learn about the first part of the Pin Yin system - the 6 vowels, which are a, o, e, i, u, ü.

You may want to listen to the pronunciation of each vowel very carefully since they are of great difference from the English ones.

(p.s. in the first lesson, when we are pronouncing these vowels, the tone is remaining flat)

Stay tuned so that you can enjoy more upcoming video courses.

You may also contact us for online learning sessions with a private tutor, we will contact you in a short while.

Keep up with the good work!
