Introduction Part 2 - initial consonants

Happy learning of Mandarin Chinese!

In our second video, we are going to learn about the next part of the Pin Yin system - initial consonants.

There are totally 23 initial consonants in the Pin Yin system and we can find most of them in the English alphabets, except for only a few of them, such as zh, ch, sh.

You may want to listen to the pronunciation of each initial consonant very carefully since they are of great difference from the English ones.

(p.s. in the second lesson, when we are pronouncing these initial consonants, the tone is remaining flat)

Stay tuned so that you can enjoy more upcoming video courses.

You may also contact us for online learning sessions with a private tutor, we will contact you in a short while.

Keep up with the good work!
