In this introductory video, we are going to talk about the second part in the Pin Yin system, initial consonants.

There are totally 23 initial consonants in the Pin Yin system and we can find most of them in the English alphabets, except for only a few of them, such as zh, ch, sh.

However, you may want to pay very close attention to each initial consonant’s pronunciation since they are of great difference from the English ones. Come to check it out!
